Thomas C. O’Connor joined Grandelli & Eskenasi as an Associate in 2021.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. O’Connor was an award-winning attorney for the New York City Law Department where he was frequently assigned to handle complex personal injury trials as first-chair and litigated a wide variety of matters ranging from ordinary negligence to multifaceted civil-rights cases. Within his first few years with the City, he quickly elevated to Senior Attorney where he supervised a group of attorneys and led a team of investigators.
Before joining the New York City Law Department, Mr. O’Connor attended Brooklyn Law School, from which he graduated cum laude. While at Brooklyn Law School, Mr. O’Connor interned with the Civil and Criminal Divisions of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, earned the Irving R. Rosenthal Memorial Scholarship for academic excellence in 2017 and won the CALI Award for outstanding performance in the subject of Personal Injury & Medical Malpractice. Mr. O’Connor also served on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Law & Policy and his article on the history of attorney-client privilege in the State of New York was selected for publication in 2016.
Outside of the law, Mr. O’Connor enjoys spending time with his friends, family, and his dog Meadow. Mr. O’Connor is an active member of his Brooklyn community where he has resided for the past ten years.
